Men Vs Woman
In the year of 2012 many gender stereotypes and roles in society have changed for the male and female. What is expected of them currently is for both of them to have jobs. They both go make money for the family and come back home. Most people would say that the male still has the most income and still provides the most but things are changing these days and woman can have the same if not more. Today men and woman are looked at as the same and equal in every way. The male is still seen as the person to bring home the most money which is bad because woman are doing the same so its getting harder for competition. Its also hard for them because they have to meet womans expectations which keep getting higher and higher. Woman still have to deal with some prejudice in the work place but things are getting better for them. The stereotypes of 2012 are very small and are slowly going away. Soon there wont be a saying of who stays home and takes care of the kids or cooks and cleans.

I disagree with the fact that most people today see men as making the most income in the family. I think nowadays its more equal in a family. if fact it mostly depends what kind of occupation the parents have. I don't believe men are supposed to make more money than women and I think a lot of people would agree with me. I do agree with your statement about how men have to meet women's expectations, which are high. i can use myself for an example because i know for a fact that my expectations are very high.
